Welcome to Green Valley – and the Green Valley Landowners Association (GVLA). Our organization was started 53 years ago with the mission to preserve and enhance the rural character of Green Valley. Our dedication to this mission continues today.

In 2025, we will be working with local officials and organizations to encourage and champion improvements to our utilities, amenities, fire safety and surroundings, as well as preserve our Valley’s rural beauty, agricultural bounty, and strong sense of community.

Several of the changes we are monitoring, include:

• The Cordelia Fire Protection District (CFPD) has entered a long-term agreement with the Fairfield Fire District for fire and emergency services to ensure the safety of all residents in our Valley.

• The Green Valley Fire Safe Council worked diligently to secure a California Vegetation Treatment grant. This project, working with CAL FIRE, will create, clear and extend a shaded fuel break along the ridgetops at the west and north ends of Green Valley. A second grant was received and will allow the extension of the fire break along the eastern edge of the valley.

• The Middle Green Valley plan is fully approved as of January 2025. It is in the early stages of building a new village and 390 new homes to the west of Green Valley Road off Mason Road.

As you review our website, if you have suggestions, thoughts about any of our initiatives, or would like to join our efforts in working toward solutions for the issues we face, please let us know.

Thank you for your support!
